Connect CherryStudio to VariFlight MCP
Set up VariFlight MCP in CherryStudio: account requirements, server configuration, authorization, and a flight-query example to verify your connection.
Before you start
Sign in to VariFlight MCP, obtain your MCP Key in the console, and replace YOUR_MCP_KEY in the configuration. Available tools and data depend on your account permissions and the client’s MCP support. Keep the key private.

NewAdd a remote service in the client’s MCP manager
Setup steps
- 1Open MCP management in Settings and add a remote service.
- 2Enter the name, URL, and Authorization, then save.
- 3Enable the service and test tool calls in a new chat.
Complete each field in CherryStudio MCP settings.
Server name: variflight-mcp Type: Streamable HTTP URL: https://c-gw.variflight.com/chat_message/mcp/api Authorization: Bearer YOUR_MCP_KEY
# After saving, ask: "Check the flight status of MU5102." # Flight schedules and current status indicate a successful connection.
Verify the connection
Enable the server, start a new conversation, and ask the verification question above. Check that a VariFlight tool was actually called and that the result identifies the flight date and data source. If tools are missing, review the endpoint, Authorization header, account permissions, and your client’s configuration. An empty result is not proof that no flight exists.
