Connect Doubao Work to VariFlight MCP
Set up VariFlight MCP in Doubao Work: account requirements, server configuration, authorization, and a flight-query example to verify your connection.
Before you start
Sign in to VariFlight MCP, obtain your MCP Key in the console, and replace YOUR_MCP_KEY in the configuration. Available tools and data depend on your account permissions and the client’s MCP support. Keep the key private.

NewConnect to VariFlight MCP with a custom connector
Setup steps
- 1In Doubao Work, open Skills · Connectors · Partners, then select New → New custom connector.
- 2Enter the server name and URL, select HTTP transport, and add an Authorization header.
- 3Save and enable the connector. Start a new task, select variflight-mcp, and test a flight query.
For custom headers, use Authorization as the name and Bearer followed by a space and your MCP key as the value.
Server name: variflight-mcp Transport: HTTP Server URL: https://c-gw.variflight.com/chat_message/mcp/api Authorization: Bearer YOUR_MCP_KEY
Use variflight-mcp to check the status of flight MU5102 tomorrow. Include the query date and data source.
Verify the connection
Enable the server, start a new conversation, and ask the verification question above. Check that a VariFlight tool was actually called and that the result identifies the flight date and data source. If tools are missing, review the endpoint, Authorization header, account permissions, and your client’s configuration. An empty result is not proof that no flight exists.
